Event Accompaniments

We are proud to tailor every event specifically to our client and experience has taught us that sometimes you need that little extra something.  So whether your needs are added luxury or purely logistics we have a range of services to help us make your dragon boat regatta perfect whilst simultaneously taking pressure off you, the event organiser.

Accommodation.  We know and understand how stressful it can be trying to find accommodation for groups, however big or small, so why not let us lift the burden and source accommodation for you.  So, whether it be five star luxury or just a cosy B&B we will find options to fit your needs.

Catering.  We can cure the headache of sourcing catering for all the participants at your regatta; from a bacon sandwich to picnic hampers, BBQs, buffets or bespoke catering.

Chair & Table Hire.  We can supply and dress, tables and chairs to match the theme of your event.

Children’s Entertainment.  For children not participating in the dragon boat racing (or even for those that are) land activities create the perfect entertainment.  Face painters, bouncy castles, magicians, stilt walkers, balloon modellers the choice is nearly endless!

Coach Transfers.  Help your participants make it to the event on time!  Regardless of budget we will happily arrange coaches, themed buses and taxis to get you both to and from, relaxed and stress free.

Marquee.  Our 28ft x 38ft Capri Marquee can accommodate 80 guests seated or up to 100 standing.  So whether you need respite from the glorious British sun (or protection from the inevitable passing shower) our marquee has a multitude of purposes.  See www.tag-marquees.com for more info and pictures.

Photographer.  Our professional photographer can be present throughout the day, taking photos of teams, individuals and of course the action!  A photo CD will then be created and sent to you within 24hrs of the event close.  Or the photos can be made available for sale on the day, so teams and individuals can take a lasting memory home on the day.

Prizes and Cerificates.  At the end of your dragon boat regatta our announcer and event manager will be happy to lead the presentation and award prizes and / or certificates to the winning team(s)!  We can source trophies specifically tailored to your event and your charity.  Automatically included in the cost of one of our regattas are fifteen Dragons Alive medals. 

Regatta Memorabilia. On request we can source bespoke souvenirs for you to give to teams or for teams to purchase on the day, whether it be a regatta t-shirt, mug, pen, water bottle, cap or bag. 

Refreshments.  Its thirsty work dragon boat racing all day so why not let us provide the refreshments for every step of the way; teas and coffees on arrival, soft drinks during the day and perhaps a glass of wine or chilled beer for when the racing has finished. 

Refuse.  To ensure you leave your venue clean and tidy so they are happy to welcome you back again next year, it may be necessary to source additional rubbish bins.  We are happy to source these on your behalf or recommend trusted suppliers. 

Side Shows.  Sometimes you need that little bit extra, so whether your thinking of face painters and magicians to entertain the children on a family fun day, musicians and bands to liven the atmosphere and ambience or dragon, lion dancers and traditional eye dotting ceremonies to really get you in the mood for dragon boat racing we have a wide and varied list of trusted and esteemed suppliers who we work closely with on a regular basis.

Signage.  To ensure all your participants and spectators make it to your event on time it is helpful to clearly signpost your event, form directions on the road to signs within your venue we can advise and help you with it all. 

Theming.  Let us bring your event to life with the theme of your choice.  With our creativity and unique ideas we will make your event unforgettable.  We can theme part or all of your event, from the simplest touch to the most breathtaking design.

Toilet Facilities.  There is nothing more frustrating than not having enough facilities at an event.  We will advise you on suitable quantities and trusted suppliers.
